Case study

"The Veryant solution has given us improved cross-platform application portability, provided a very cost-effective solution with a fast time to value, and we find the performance is excellent."
Mark Rawlings, CEO, InfoTrax

InfoTrax has provided software solutions for direct sales and multi-level marketing organizations worldwide for more than 30 years. To address a growing need for SOA and Web Services-based tools, the company turned to the isCOBOL Application Platform Suite (APS) from Veryant.

Business Drivers: InfoTrax wanted to modernize its sales support applications and seamlessly integrate with newer technologies such as Java and XML. The company also wanted to leverage a solution that used open interfaces and would run on a standardized platform such as the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) environment.

Solution: After learning of isCOBOL technology and its compatibility with the ACUCOBOL-GT® platform, InfoTrax decided to transition its applications with Veryant. In addition to being able to quickly deploy an updated solution, InfoTrax found the multi-language localization capabilities and performance of isCOBOL APS to be excellent.
