You can choose which file status codes you want to use by setting the iscobol.file.status runtime framework property
This property specifies which file status codes to use. Set it to one of the following values:

Note for Java programmers: This property specifies the name of the class that handles the file status code. To create a custom set of file status codes, the class must implement the "com.iscobol.io.FileStatus" interface.
