Title: How do I make an isCOBOL program that will run on a mobile device, like iPad?

The options for creating applications that run on mobile devices are

1. Develop a mobile app using the SDK provided by the mobile device manufacturer or OS provider.
For example:
http://developer.apple.com/devcenter/ios/index.action
http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
http://us.blackberry.com/developers/
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/

Interoperate with the COBOL application through one of the following technologies:
- RDBMS to share the COBOL data with the mobile app
- Mobile app make HTTP (or HTTPS) requests to COBOL Servlets or Java Servlets that call COBOL subprograms or interface with OOCOBOL objects
- Mobile app as a web services client with COBOL web services or Java-based web services that call COBOL subprograms or interface with OOCOBOL objects
- Mobile app as a web services client with COBOL web services taking advantage by isCOBOL EIS

2. Develop a web application for mobile devices
- IsCOBOL EIS with graphical cobol interface under isCOBOL Web Direct 2.0
- IsCOBOL EIS with html interface

Deploy the front-end
- User visits the website using the mobile device's web browser
- User downloads a web link or shortcut "app" which launches the website

3. Develop a mobile application to be executed locally
- IsCOBOL Mobile (currently only for Android) to create a .apk application
