Advanced Eclipse-based IDE
A GUI-based Screen Designer, integrated Event Editor, and Import Facility have been added to robust core COBOL development capabilities of the isCOBOL IDE.
Improved thin client performance
Make calls to isCOBOL ISAM Server from isCOBOL Server without starting a separate isCOBOL ISAM Server process.

Other advances in the isCOBOL APS 2009 release include full support for MySQL, DB2, and DB2/400; as well as the availability of isCOBOL ISAM Server on 64-bit Windows and Mac OS X.
