AG Informática y Servicios, SA offers several ERP applications for business management, and a wide range of solutions, from consulting through development and deployment of ERP systems, to EDI solutions. To make its offerings attractive to a larger market by making them more flexible and appealing to today’s Web 2.0 users, the company turned to the isCOBOL Application Platform Suite (APS) from Veryant.

Business Drivers: AG Informática y Servicios wanted to provide platform independent, Web-enabled applications. The company also wanted to complete its migration a low cost to preserve margins and retain as much of the business logic from existing applications as possible.

Solution: After considering different approaches to meet their goals, including starting from scratch and rewriting all of their legacy programs, AG Informática y Servicios decided to transition its applications with Veryant. isCOBOL technology enabled the company to reached its goal of improved cross-platform application portability, as well as gain an enhanced GUI end user environment.
